Melanie Dogan combines attention to detail with an artistic edge to consistently create beautiful graphic and web design. Creating beauty through art is her life's passion.
When working with a client, she employs a seven-step process that keeps the client fully involved as she creates or recreates that client's identity/web site/etc. This process also increases her time management skills. While completing her education, she successfully juggled her schoolwork with freelance jobs for six different clients. Samples of this work can be seen on her portfolio page.
In 2002, Melanie received a diploma in digital media from the NC School of Communication Arts, which includes certificates of web and graphic design. She won the "top dog" award for best portfolio in her class, as voted by her peers. Two years previous, she graduated from Wake Technical Community College with a 3.6 GPA with an associate in arts degree.
Melanie grew up in Miami, FL and moved to Raleigh, NC in 1996. She has recently become very interested in and desires to improve her photography skills. Other hobbies include spending time with family and friends, enjoying and taking pictures of nature, and meeting new people that share her profession and love of design.
